Due to a complaint of copyright protection from another wartime memories group we have removed the piece that described the 24th Battalion of the Tyneside Irish Regiment from our site.
We are disappointed that copyright protection and internet hits are considered more important by some than sharing information on the history of the brave men and boys of Tyneside who lost their lives in battle, serving this country.

We will endeavour to place something up in its place that honours the men and boys of the 24th Battalion in due course

May they rest in peace; Amen.
