St Patricks Day Remembrance 2016

31/1/2016

Our annual Remembrance of the fallen will take place at Eldon Square War Memorial in Newcastle City Centre at 1pm on 17th March (St Patrick's Day) and afterwards for light refreshments at the Tyneside Irish Centre. This years service is particularly poignant as it remembers 100 years since the final St Patricks Day celebrated by the men of the Tyneside Irish Regiment before that fateful first day on the Somme on 1st July 1916 at La Boisselle.
